Relief at base of Worland Limestone (labeled)

The Worland Limestone in the right foreground is 12 feet thick. From
there the base rises, with lower Worland beds lapping out against the
underlying strata. Units in the sub-Worland high are labeled; beds
assignable to the Mulberry Coal are not present at the site where the
labels are. Opposite the van parked on the shoulder the member is
only 8 feet thick. Beyond that the base descends, and the Worland's
thickness varies into the distance, reaching 12 feet again just this side
of the I-70 overpasses. Strata marked by the bracket are missing where
the Worland is very thick.
