Various kinds of clasts in conglomerate and limestone unit

The most conspicuous clasts in this clayey matrix-supported conglomerate
are limestone. Claystone clasts are abundant, but they blend in with the
matrix. The Mulberry Member is missing here, so the conglomerate rests
directly on the varicolored claystone unit. The contact is just above the level
of the hammer head. The pink clast to the left of the hammer is micritic
limestone (see slab 1). Above the hammer handle is a zone of large algal
fragment limestone clasts (slab 2).
