The Platyceras gastropods lived in a symbiotic association with crinoids.
Platyceras
attached and scavenged directly off the crinoid calyx, perhaps
feeding off the ejected material from the anal tube.

This specimen is one of the largest found at this locality. Most are
less than a centimeter.
