General abundance: Rare
Jedria is closely related to Naticopsis,
but differs in having a
step-like shelf on the top of the whorl. Most species of this genus
have more ornamentation, but the scattered bumps on the shell
suggest there is more bumpy ornamentation on the shell than
shows in the photograph.
