This specimen is from the top of the Worland limestone.
There are surface areas where the top 2 feet or more
are a solid mass of root molds.General abundance: Common
Dr. Norm King identified this specimen (as well as others)
recently when he was here studying this locality.Dr. Andrew Rindsberg provided some very interesting
information about roots and burrows.
