This specimen is from the top of the Worland limestone.
There are surface areas where the top 2 feet or more
are a solid mass of root molds.

General abundance:  Common

Dr. Norm King identified this specimen (as well as others)
recently when he was here studying this locality.

Dr. Andrew Rindsberg provided some very interesting
information about roots and burrows.
